If you would have asked me 5 years ago whether I would start a blog, I would have laughed at your face. Even writing a small reply to an e-mail can take me hours because I never know how to put my thoughts into words. Yet here I am starting a blog and writing up an introductory blog post.
The reason I want to start this blog is the fact that over the past few years, I have seen the internet change in various ways. It is now hard to come by stories written by people which somehow makes those stories feel meaningless. In may of 2026, Graphite published a study which stated that AI now writes as many online articles as humans1.
For many people, this probably doesn't matter too much as you can barely notice it anymore when an article is made with AI while still getting all the information you desire. For me however, this development is making those stories feel a bit meaningless to me. Sure, if I would want to know what the weather is going to be, I wouldn't mind it being handed to me by an AI but if I am browsing the internet specifically to read an article and they are mostly generated by AI, I could just as well ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to generate that article for me.
For this reason, I felt that writing stories in the form of a blog could bring a sense of relief from all the artificial content out there. I will never use any AI to help write these posts, not even for the spelling or grammar so there might be some mistakes (since I am human after all). I will however explore all the developments related to creative work and AI. My aim is to provide factual stories with small opiniated pieces in the hope to inform some people on various topics.
